Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your Archive Edition.
Each piece is carefully assembled by hand before dispatch. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Changing Your Mind

If you purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item.
To exercise this right, please contact us at:

Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us.

Returned products must be:

  • unused

  • unopened where applicable

  • in their original packaging

  • in a resaleable condition

Customers are responsible for return postage.

Scented Products

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of fragrance products, we cannot accept returns simply because you dislike the scent.

We cannot offer refunds where:

  • the fragrance is not to your personal taste

  • the product has been used

  • the product has been opened beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it

Scented Archive Fans

Archive Fans are fragranced and intended for personal use.

For hygiene reasons, used scented fans cannot be returned unless faulty.

Unused fans if faulty may be returned within the statutory cancellation period.

Perfume Oils

Perfume oils may only be returned if they:

  • arrive damaged

  • leak during transit

  • are faulty

  • are incorrect

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • your order number

  • photographs of the product and packaging

  • a description of the issue

Where a return is required, we will provide return instructions.

Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the original item has been returned and inspected, unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • photographs of the packaging

  • photographs of the item

Where appropriate we will:

  • replace the item

  • repair the item

  • offer a refund

Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the original item has been returned and inspected, unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

Limited Editions

Many Archive Editions are produced in limited quantities.
Where an identical replacement is unavailable, we may instead provide:

  • a full refund, or

  • an equivalent replacement of similar value.

Return Address

Please contact us before returning any item.

Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

Digital Products

Digital downloads, guides, online workshops and educational content are non-refundable once access has been granted or the download has begun.

By purchasing digital content you agree that delivery may begin immediately and acknowledge that your cancellation rights end once access has been provided.

Workshops

Workshop cancellations made:

  • more than 14 days before the event → full refund

  • between 7 and 14 days → transfer to another available date

  • less than 7 days → non-refundable

If The Mood Vault cancels a workshop, customers may choose either:

  • a full refund

  • transfer to another date

Refund Times

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
